To help you understand us a little we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions;

Q) Who are we?
A) Steamboat's last small family owned ski shop, specializing in ski and boot sales, bootfitting and low priced rentals.

Q) Why are we located downtown and not at the ski slopes?
A) So we can keep our overheads lower and pass on those low prices to you. And, if you spend money with us you help to feed our family not boost the inflated pockets of some anonymous shareholder.

Q) Can I Pick up my rentals today if I'm skiing tomorrow?
A) We do rentals for the next day any time after 3:00 pm.

Q) What's that funny smell?
A) Er, not me. Ask the dog!

Q) Do I really need to make a rental reservation?
A) No, but doing so helps us better serve your needs, and for giving us two weeks notice we'll give you 10% off!

Q) How much is it for an aardvark rental?
A) That all depends on what size aardvark you'd like.

Q) Why should you buy boots from us and not one if those big discount outlets?
A) Because unlike them we make the effort to get you in the right boot and you'll find our prices very competitive.

Q) What do you guys do in the summer?
A) Shave our heads and grow a beard, you know... flip it over!

Q) Why haven't I got a reply from the email I sent last week?
A) Because we don't sit at a desk doing stuff like that. We fit boots, rent skis, mount bindings, tune skis, and ski as much as we can. If you need a quick answer, give us a call. (toll free 877 754 7474)
